Work History
12/2006-Present: Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG), VR Studio
Job Title: Operations Site Engineer, Publisher
My main role at the VR Studio is to build and publish the final version of the software for our Massively Multi-Player Online Role Playing Games (MMORPG). I currently build and publish the software for Pirates of the Carribbean Online for both Windows and Mac. I am also responsible for deploying the software to the servers on which the game operates. I am deeply involved with developing the automation for the build process. In this position, I work closely with the developers to ensure the correct code is being pulled from our source code repository and being built into the final product. I act as the liaison between our QA department and our developers. Another component of my position is to help administer the game servers. Our servers are running a version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux on 64 bit machines.
12/2004-11/2006: Intel
Job Title: Sort Product Development Engineer, Flash Products Group
At Intel, I work in wafer level sort for the Flash Products Group. My job duties involve developing and maintaining software to test the functionality of our products. To do this, an extensive knowledge of each product's architecture and built in test modes is required. High volume data analysis and interpretation skills are employed to tune defect screens and monitor process variations to ensure that quality devices are delivered to the customer. I also build and maintain data analysis tools used both on workstations and, through a web interface, on servers. My job requires a vast amount of object oriented programming in C, C++, and PERL in both a Windows and a Linux/Unix environment.
